Look he's not wearing Spiderman today!
Day 11-Today we didn't do much, our facilitator ran around until 1pm getting documents. He then got on the train to go home for the weekend. There is nothing he can do until Monday, he will be back Monday morning around 7 am. At 3:30 we went to no. 4 to see Vasya he was playing basketball in the gym, or maybe it was P.E. class. There was a teacher there yelling stuff in russian-which is a language that sounds harsh even when they aren't trying to be. He was the center and even though he isn't very tall he is very good. It was very hot in a gym on the second floor with no windows that open. Vasya had on tennis shoes but most kids were either barefoot or in flip flops. One girl even had on slippers. It is sad to see but a lot of the kids have injuries, I am not sure but if I had to guess I would say they were fighting. There is very little supervision around. We watched the game then went outside with him, he drank a bottle of water we had in our backpackand then Matthew and Vasya split a small package of cookies we had. Matthew wanted to play on the "creaky bridge" on the playground, so he asked Vasya "Moct pazhulusta" or bridge please. So they played for a while then we left to go see Sasha. The bus was roasting hot and very full, the good thing is that someone always gets up and gives me their seat when they see Matthew. Sasha was happy to see us and is talking more and more in English. I took out a box of colors and asked him each one in English-he knew all eight. Then I asked him to teach me them in russian-I had tried learning them before. Yellow, Green and Brown are huge words that I can not remember. We played hide-n-seek for a while then headed back on the bus to our apartment. Matthew was a complete stinker on the bus-I am sure people thought he had serious problems he was soooooo loud and naughtly.

I love the pictures! All three look like such sweet boys, and definitely like brothers. :-)
I think Vasya looks a little like Jeff!
Do either of the boys remember each other? Or Matthew? How long have they been in the orphanages?
Erin emailed me to ask if I have my paperwork done for baby #2 and I told her that for some reason (?!) I'm a little slower this time. Imagine that!
OH, Yippee! I have been travelling so much in the last two weeks that I forgot to check your blog! I am so happy for your family! I can only imagine how hot that is in Odessa right now. Your boys look healthy and strong. I am so glad that the snag is behind you and I pray that your process is blessed abundantly beyond your expectations. Oh, have you seen Luda & Valery (the family we stayed with)?

The boys look so much alike and healthy too.
I was wondering if they remember each other also.
Praying paperwork will all come together quickly.
