Here's one for my mom, Angie and Trista...It's a dentist office. I could see a woman working on
someone inside, it didn't look too bad.
Day 9-Today we went and visited Vasya at 10 without our translator/facilitator. We did fine. Yesterday he was too shy to eat more than one of the snacks from our snack bag-today he and Matthew almost finished the entire bag. He looked very handsome in his school uniform, we played with a couple of puppies that live in a hole in the foundation of the orphanage. They are pretty fat so somebody is feeding them. Matthew played with him a little but wouldn't let Vasya hold him for long. Actually Matthew is either feeling better and decided to drive me to near insanity today or feeling worse and was taking it out on me. He was loud and talked non-stop all day, which makes it hard to blend it especially on a quiet bus. Jeff tried to pick up some documents at the city building but everyone who spoke English the other day pretended to not understand. Our facilitator will be back in the morning so he will get the documents. Matthew took a nap, I did some laundry and then we headed to Sasha's house -that's what Matthew calls it. We played hide and seek and frisbee. It is impossible to any of us to successfully hide when there are six to ten little kids pointing to where we are. After the orphanage we stopped at McDonalds for supper and Matthew played in the outdoor playland for a while.

Matthew said something pretty funny today about Sasha. We have only seen him in his school uniform and camo shorts with a spiderman shirt. Matthew said "That boy must really like that spiderman shirt."
We asked Vasya-he is 14 not 15.
I have noticed several things that are different from last trip. People look healthier, not so scrawny in fact we have seen several younger people who are overweight-not so last time. We have seen a lot of newer cars this time, last time it was mostly old Lada's and a few BMW's for the richer people. Now we see tons of Chevy Avero's, toyotas, and even a few Hyundai's. There are a lot of babies and pregnant women. The population has been decreasing rapidly so the gov't is paying people to have and keep their kids. And the last thing I have noticed is that the people dress more like we do so not so much dressed up with super high heels although we have seen quite a few. But we have also seen a lot of people in shorts and flip flops too.
