Day 14- Monday
We didn't do much today because Matthew and I both had fevers. We didn't even go to the grocery store acrossed the street, we just ate what we had here-eggs. My allergies were still acting up. We did try to go to see Vasya. We couldn't find him at no.4, it is really big. We asked a few kids but couldn't really understand them. Our facilitator came back but his phone was stolen so he couldn't call Vasya. He was getting the rest of our documents from no.9 so he couldn't go with us. All of our documents have been submitted to the city offices for approval-pray that this goes quick as they legally have ten days to do it. Any we went to the Director's office at no.4 and said "Vasya Kaplin??" while shrugging our shoulders. She started yelling at us in Russian then got on the phone and called Vanya. After she was done we called Vanya who said do no take Vasya with you-So we were confused. But left and headed to no.9 to Sasha. Later we learned that the Director thought we had taken Vasya with us on Sunday-we didn't even go to no.4 on Sunday. So he will clear it up today. Sasha wasn't his usually super happy kid, he seemed tired. We played connect four-an electronic game we have (thanks again Kennedy's), drew some pictures, had a snack. Then Sasha lost a spring to the toy gun he was playing with, he was unhappy about this even when we left. Plus he had a fat lip from fighting with a boy over a toy car-Jeff teased him saying a girl punched him when he tried to kiss her. He thought that was pretty funny. I didn't take any new pictures since I can't blow my nose and hold the camera at the same time.
It was hot again -probably 90 and it didn't cool off much when the sun went down. So we either battle the misquitos with the window open or sweat like crazy. It sounds like we are miserable but we are not. It is always an adventure. Once the city offices (two on for each boy) approve the paperwork we can send it Kiev for approval at the SDA. Then we can have court, unfortunately the judge will be gone from the 15-21st so it looks like the soonest we can have court is the 22nd.
