This type of toilet is typical for any place that is not a home in Ukraine. This one is very clean, it is the one for visitors at the orphanage. Ironically you usually have to pay to use these!

Here is Max (with his tongue out), Tanya(who was to be our official court translator), and Stas right after "Court".

Can you believe in less than a week you will be able to have Matthew with you all the time. It seems hard to believe after such a long wait. We are counting down the days until we get to see you guys and meet Matthew. Hope your weather holds out, it's not very nice here. Miss you, see you soon!!

Wow! What a journey you guys have been on. I am glad that this one is ending and another is just begining. Your lives have just changed for the better, to see life through a child's eyes - there is nothing better.

Cara, how do women use those toilets? That was CLEAN? Oh my, you poor thing. They have alot of catching up to do hugh?

We are in the middle of a nasty winter storm right now with most of the state shut down. Several counties without power and LOTS of snow. The kids had school but are getting out at 12:30. The Governor shut down every state office. Pierre has had snow since yesterday and wind gusts of 60 miles/hr. I-90 is closed. So, be glad that you are where you are for today anyway.

Can't wait to see you guys - be safe and kiss Matthew for us!

Love,
Todd,Deb,and Jessica

Cara,
Patti and I were wondering about those toilets too. Is that for women? We need some more information to understand how that works? I agree with Deb......it didn't look that clean to me either. Can't wait to see you on December 21st. That little Matthew just keeps getting cuter! Sandy
