Anyone out there in blogland thinking about adopting siblings from Ukraine? We know of two sets of great kids who would love forever families of their own. There are alot of great kids waiting for families here in Ukraine. We would love to take them all home. Adopting from Ukraine is (to quote our facilitator) "not easy, if it was everyone would do it." The rules seem to change everyday but if you are willing to stick it out you will be rewarded with a wonderful child.
The bible says to take care of the world's orphans and widows and to not let yourself be polluted by the world around you. Everyone can help, if you have been thinking about adopting and have questions e-mail me. Maybe you can't adopt but you can help by sponsoring an orphan, or orphanage, or by helping a family who is adopting finacially. If you can't do any of those, You can always PRAY for the families who are adopting and for the orphans and widows of the world-especially those who are aging out of orphanages or have HIV. Ukraine has lots of kids-not necessarily toddlers but I have met lots of pre-teen and teenaged kids who are great. Think about it.
