Day 36 Tuesday Sept 30 (I write this for my own benefit, I am having trouble keeping track of what day it is )
We saw both boys today, Vasya was back. Jeff played frisbee with Vasya and some of the kids in his class. I spent the time keeping Matthew out of trouble, and playing with some puppies.
Matthew slept the entire way to no.9, so he was ready to go when we got there. They were having a birthday party for Nadyia-her family arrived from the states a couple days ago to adopt her. We got in on the end of the party, Matthew and Sasha had cake, apples and bananas.
In Ukraine it is like a mortal sin to let little kids (Matthew's age) run around on the floor with only socks on. Sasha's caregivers gave him a pair of slippers to put on Matthew, the slippers were Sasha's size. It was very funny to watch Sasha trying to pin down Matthew to put the slippers on. Matthew hates to wear slippers. Sasha never did get them on Matthew. Then we went outside and played. We watched an episode of Sponge Bob on Matthew's gameboy-Sasha says he doesn't like Sponge Bob, but he sure laughed. He says he likes Expida Rangers, which is a Ukrainian version of Power Rangers--which we do not like and won't let him watch in America. Everytime Matthew has seen it as someone else's house, he comes home kicking and punching. Oh well, Maybe Sasha will like Scooby-Doo or Land Before Time instead.
It was very nice today, I hope it stays this way!

Just wanted you guys to know that a day doesn't go by where we don't think about you. It's become a daily ritual to read your blog (and feel your pain). Hope that things go well with the judge next week and he gives you a quick appointment date. If you come back to the States through New York, we'd love to go and meet you. Please keep us posted -- you can email us at our yahoo address. Keep the faith!
Love,
June, Rob & Christopher
