Can you believe we have been home almost 6 months now! It has been a busy six months. I worked 30 hours a week during tax season while Matthew went to Marlene's. She is a great babysitter. Matthew knows lots of kids there, including all of my nieces and nephews and the little boy who lives on the farm acrossed the road from us. He has grown 2 inches since we came home. But he hasn't gained any weight, he still weighs 22 lbs. All of his pants fall down which drives him crazy. He speaks close to 100 English words, knows most of his shapes, a few colors, and lots of animal sounds. He is close to being potty trained, we may need to buy suspenders to keep his pants up with out a diaper. He loves being outside with his papa (dad), and riding the "mo mo" (mower) with me. We saw two snakes last time and he hasn't stopped talking about them. We have tons of baby kittens, ducks, and chicks for him to play with(If anyone needs a kitten or two let me know). He has adjusted to riding in his carseat which he hated at first. He is going to be a ring bearer in my sister's wedding this summer-I can't wait to see him in a tux. He is a very busy, typical two year old with tantrums and all. Although I read the book "Love and Logic for the early years" and it really helped us to deal with "being two". He is all boy-trucks, balls, tools, running nonstop, although he will sit for hours when we read a book to him. I am not sure how many more times I can read "If you give a mouse a cookie" or "Hop on Pop". One of these days I'll get some pictures posted.

So glad Matthew is adjusting well! Sounds like you are full fledged parents of a boy now, reading books and playing chase! I can attest to that. Our boys are 2 and 4. They will be 3 and 5 in September and this baby is due in October. We find out today what the baby is. Do you plan on going back to Ukraine or any other country to adopt again? It is still very painful for us to remember Ukraine but we know there are a lot of children who still need homes. Maybe many years from now we may go back. Good Luck & God bless. The copes
